The Congress of European ORL-Head & Neck Surgery, now in its 5th year, took place in Brussels this year and saw Dr Joost van Dinther from Antwerp talking on his experience of assessing Quality of Life following cholesteatoma surgery using the Dutch version of the COMQ-12 and COMBI tools. (These tools in a variety of languages are available at: https://www.ioog.net/proms). Dr Matthew Yung from Ipswich, UK also gave a presentation on surgical strategy in cholesteatoma based on the EAONO/JOS Classification and Staging systems.
