About the IOOG

Aims

The aims of the IOOG are as follows:

 

1.  Agree on a minimum data set that otology should use in their audit system to facilitate international    

       collaboration and standardised comparative systems in future.

 

2.  To hold scientific sessions at International Otology Meetings at which those interested in otology

       outcome may meet, discuss clinical practice and present clinical and research papers.

 

3.  Agree on the terminology in the data fields to facilitate comparison.

 

4.  Promote and participate in multi-centre comparison and collaboration.
