It was a pleasure to attend the 9th EAONO Conference in the beautiful city of Copenhagen. A scientific session on the ‘EAONO/JOS Definition, Classification and Staging of Cholesteatoma’ was held at the conference. The outcomes of two separate multi-centre studies using this staging system were presented. The IOOG website was also formally launched at the conference and was well received.
